| omschrijving | Cutlass- the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel- half-basket guard with turned edges. The grip is formed from two pieces of wood- which have been riveted to each side of the tang. The steel blade is straight- double-edged with a spear point and has a broad groove running from 38mm below the hilt to 280mm. The obverse of the blade is engraved with an arrow above the letter 'N'- a crossed sword motif- a crown motif- the number '35' with the letter 'W' below. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the numbers '3' and '02'- a crown motif above the number '35' with the letter 'W' below.
