omschrijvingCutlass- the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel- half-basket guard. A brass lozenge is riveted to the guard and is stamped with number '54'. The cast iron grip has been moulded. The flat- slightly curved steel blade has a double-edged spear point. The obverse of the blade is engraved with an arrow above the letters 'WD'- a crown- the letter 'E' with the number '53' below- along with an 'X'. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the numbers '6'- '88' and '92'- a crown above the letters 'BR' with the number '66' below and a crown above the letter 'B' with the number '13' below. The reverse of the blade is also engraved with the letter 'N'- and a crown above the letters 'BR' with the number '34' below.
