| omschrijving | Cutlass- the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel- half-basket guard. A brass lozenge is riveted to the guard and is stamped with numbers '3' and '103'. An earlier stamp consisting of the number '144' has been partially erased. The cast iron grip has been moulded. The flat- slightly curved steel blade has a double-edged spear point. The obverse of the blade is engraved with an arrow above the letters 'WD'- a crown- the letter 'E' with the number '30' below. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the number '87'.
