omschrijving | Earthenware dish, transfer-printed in brown with an overall wave design and six pairs of tritons blowing seashells, their tails entwined, and two single ones. In the centre is a scallop-shaped reserve containing a ribbon inscribed 'TRAFALGAR' placed across the staff of a British ensign, flying above a gun, laurel branch and inverted foreign flags. The trophies are flanked by a pyramid and crocodile representing the Battle of the Nile, and a fortress representing the Battle of Copenhagen. The dish has a border of a Greek key pattern, roses, thistles and anchors, and an ochre painted rim.
