omschrijvingOblong tea caddy with reeded canted corners, a white body and blue painted rims. One side, within an oval on a painted blue ground, a relief depicting an obelisk standing on a scallop shell with a mourning Britannia and Fame inscribing 'HOWE' and 'NELSON' on her shield. On the other side, a ribbon inscribed 'PATRIOTS' is placed across the staff of a British ensign, flying above a gun, shield, laurel branch and inverted foreign flags. The trophies are flanked by a pyramid and crocodile representing the Battle of the Nile and a fortress representing the Battle of Copenhagen. The lid of the caddy is missing.
