omschrijvingLunar table globe. Astronomical details on the sphere show sites of various lunar landings together with the dates these took place. The last landing shown is Apollo 12 on 19 November 1969 USA. The globe also shows Lunik 2, the USSR first unmanned landing, 13 September 1959, Apollo 11 and Ranger 4. Illustrations on the globe are probably drawn but look like photographs. It was possibly bought at the same time as the Mars globe, Denoyer-Geppert ZBA1741.
