omschrijvingTerrestrial table globe. It forms a pair with the celestial globe, Blaeu GLB0151. Geographical details on the sphere include loxodromes for 32 compass points. The Stait of le Marie is drawn and the hypothetical southern continent is labelled 'TERRA AUSTRALIS INCOGNITA MAGALANICA'. The track of Oliver van Noort is drawn and labelled. There are various decorative feature, such as animals in North and South America and Africa, an Indian in South America and many ships in the oceans. There are notes on discoveries in North America, in the hypothetical southern continent (below the Cape of Good Hope) and below Cape Horn. All notes on discoveries are contained with separate cartouches. A total of nine oceans are named.
