AP-42-2108, Bendix Aviation Corporation, New Jersey USA". Voorop een plaatje met Engelstalige instructies. A small telescope that extends down through the floor of an aircraft so the navigator can observe the earth's surface and measure how much the aircraft is drifting due to wind. This instrument allows the navigator of a transport aircraft to determine how much the plane is drifting or being "set down" by the wind. It can also be used to determine the wind speed and direction.
